Time Zone Wizard®

Content Policy
The developer is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful experience for all users. Content with explicit sexual content, harassment, hate speech, illegal activity, and gambling-related content are not permitted. Users can report content that violates these community guidelines. Violating content may be removed, and users may have their Community or app access restricted, suspended, or permanently revoked.

Privacy Policy

Privacy matters in Time Zone Wizard. This policy explains what information Time Zone Wizard uses, why it is used, how it may be stored and protected, and the choices available to users.
 

Account & Identity
Time Zone Wizard uses Sign in with Apple to authenticate accounts. When provided by Apple, Time Zone Wizard may receive and store the user’s name and email address, including an Apple private-relay email address, together with account identifiers needed to associate information with the correct account. Time Zone Wizard does not receive or store the user’s Apple ID password.
 

Private User Data
Wizard labels and saved locations are stored on the device using Core Data and may synchronize through the user’s iCloud account using CloudKit. Layover-planner events, locations, labels, notification preferences, favorites, feature selections, and other account-linked content may be stored through Supabase so requested features can synchronize across authorized devices and resume after offline use.
 

Community Data
Users who participate in Community Features may provide Crew Profile information, including a professional name, airline, crew assignment, profile photo, and optional location-related information. Eligible profile information, Crew Favorites, and comments may be visible to other eligible Time Zone Wizard users according to the applicable feature and profile settings.
 

Location
Location may be used when a user chooses features that require it, including maps, weather, layover planning, location discovery, or optional Crew Profile location features. Users are not required to make their location publicly discoverable to use unrelated app features.
 

End-to-End Encrypted Messages
Direct-message bodies are encrypted on the sender’s device and can be decrypted on authorized participant devices that possess the required key. Supabase stores encrypted message data and the limited metadata necessary to deliver, organize, secure, and maintain conversations. Generic push notifications do not contain the private message body. If a user chooses to report a message, a readable copy of the reported message and related identifiers may be submitted to Time Zone Wizard for moderation. These are messages created within Time Zone Wizard; the app does not access the user’s Mail or Messages apps.
 

Safety & Moderation Data
Reports, moderation notices, blocked-user relationships, account-enforcement information, and related records may be processed and retained when necessary to investigate reports, protect users, enforce Time Zone Wizard policies, and prevent circumvention of restrictions.
 

Photos & Content Safety
Profile photos may be stored for display through Community Features. Time Zone Wizard may use on-device Apple safety technologies to help users make informed choices about viewing sensitive images. Users can report inappropriate photos or other Community content.
 

Diagnostics
Limited diagnostic information may be recorded when errors occur, including the affected operation, account identifier, error information, app/build version, and relevant conversation or message identifiers when available. Routine diagnostic logs are designed not to include private message bodies.
 

Notifications & Subscriptions
A device push token may be stored to deliver enabled notifications. Subscription entitlement information is obtained through Apple’s StoreKit services. Time Zone Wizard does not receive users’ complete payment-card information from Apple.
 

Service Providers
Time Zone Wizard uses Apple services for authentication, subscriptions, push notifications, maps, weather, iCloud and CloudKit synchronization, Keychain functionality, and other applicable platform services. Supabase provides account and server infrastructure for profiles, layover-planner synchronization, Community Features, encrypted messaging and key-recovery packages, notifications, moderation, and diagnostics. Information is provided only as necessary to operate, secure, and maintain these features. Time Zone Wizard requires service providers that receive user information to protect it in a manner consistent with this policy and applicable law.

No Sale, Advertising, or Tracking

Time Zone Wizard does not sell personal information, use personal information to track users across other companies’ apps or websites, serve third-party advertising, or share personal information with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.
 

Security, Retention & Deletion

Time Zone Wizard uses safeguards including authenticated access controls, database row-level security, server-side authorization controls, and end-to-end encryption of direct-message content. Private messaging keys are stored in the user’s synchronizable Keychain. If a user creates a recovery code or device-transfer code, encrypted key-recovery material may be stored through Supabase. The corresponding recovery or transfer code is required to unlock that material, and Time Zone Wizard does not store the recovery code. No electronic system can guarantee absolute security.

 

Information is retained as reasonably necessary to provide requested features. Limited security, moderation, enforcement, or deletion-audit records may be retained when necessary to enforce restrictions, prevent circumvention, resolve disputes, complete deletion processing, or satisfy legal obligations.

 

Users may request account deletion within Time Zone Wizard. Active account data and authentication information are removed as part of the deletion process, subject to the limited retention described above.
 

Your Choices
Users control the information they choose to provide and the optional Community Features they choose to use. Applicable profile information and visibility settings can be managed within the app. Location and notification permissions can be changed through iOS Settings.
 

Children
Time Zone Wizard is intended for the audience identified by its App Store age rating and is not specifically directed to children.
 

Changes & Contact
This policy may be updated as Time Zone Wizard changes. Material changes will be reflected in the published policy. Questions about privacy, account deletion, moderation, or data practices may be submitted through the support contact provided by Time Zone Wizard.

Intellectual Property
Time Zone Wizard and its original materials, designs, and branding—including text, images, graphics, user-interface designs, visual elements, and the Time Zone Wizard name and app icon/logo—are the exclusive property of Angela Lautner. These materials may not be reproduced, distributed, copied, or modified without prior written consent.
